Kayla is a writer and editor native to the Southwest Suburbs of Chicago. She graduated from Columbia College of Chicago with a Bachelor’s Degree in Fiction Writing, minoring in Biology. While in college, she interned as a writer for multiple online sites. After college, she worked for nearly five years as an editor at Groupon. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she spent most of her time freelance writing and editing. Now, she is the marketing copy editor at ASUG. In her free time, she loves to read, watch streams, play video games, and play with her pups.
